Using Email Aliases

What is an alias?

An alias is an email address provided by a forwarding service such as SimpleLogin. The service forwards newsletters sent to that alias to your Meco Inbox.

Meco does not create the alias. You only need this setup if you use an email-forwarding service.

How do I add an alias?

1. Set the alias to forward to your Meco Inbox address.
2. Go to Meco Settings → Connected Mailboxes.
3. Select your Meco Inbox.
4. Tap Configure Aliases → Add an alias.
5. Enter the email address provided by your forwarding service and tap Add.

Newsletters sent to the alias can now be forwarded to your Meco Inbox and appear in Meco.

Why is a forwarded newsletter not appearing?

Check that the forwarding service points to your exact Meco Inbox address and that the same alias is listed under Configure Aliases. If it still does not appear, contact team@meco.app.
